Among agencies serving the trades that publish a number at all, contractor SEO pricing runs from $249 per month on one site to a published annual range of $70,000 to $100,000 on another, and most agencies publish no price on their site. We wrote this article, and we are one of the agencies in the comparison. We checked every site listed here on 2026-09-28 and we only state figures those sites publish themselves. Nothing below is a judgment about anyone's quality, results or rankings.
Here's the short version:
- Most marketing agencies that say they serve contractors do not publish pricing on their sites, so the only way to get a number is a sales call.
- Where prices are published, they range widely because the packages are not the same thing. Some include a website, some are SEO only, and some quote per quarter or per year.
- Our own published plans are Intro SEO at $279 a month, Local SEO Lite at $499 a month and Local SEO Full at $979 a month, with a six month commitment and a three month out.
Why so few agencies publish a price
A published price forces an agency to define the deliverables. That is harder than it sounds, because contractor SEO covers a lot of ground: service pages, city pages, Google Business Profile work, citations, reviews, content, links and now AI answers.
The result is that a contractor shopping for SEO usually cannot compare anything until after a discovery call. Of the agencies we checked, the majority list services in detail and say nothing about cost. We publish our pricing instead of making you sit through a sales call to hear a number.
What you are actually paying for at each level
The number matters less than the deliverable list behind it. When you compare two quotes, line up the volume: how many Google Business Profile posts per month, how many blog posts, how many locations, who owns the website at the end, and whether AI visibility is tracked or just mentioned.
Volume is also why commitments exist. SEO compounds. A month of posts, pages and citations does not move a map pack by itself, but six of them stacked in the same direction usually show a trend. If you are weighing what has changed about the work itself, our breakdown of AI SEO versus traditional SEO for a contractor explains which parts are new and which are the same as always.

What we charge and why the six months exists
We are TwentyOne Solutions, a local SEO and AI visibility agency for contractors and the trades, based in San Clemente, California and founded by Tyler Huff. All of our work is done remotely, and every ranking scan covers the client's own service area.
Our published plans are Intro SEO at $279 a month, Local SEO Lite at $499 a month and Local SEO Full at $979 a month. Every plan includes a custom website with service and location pages, unlimited site updates, and a one time setup fee.
Intro SEO covers Google Business Profile management with 4 GBP posts and 2 image uploads a month, review replies, citation cleanup, monthly search scans, striking distance keyword updates, and ROI reporting with lead tracking. Local SEO Lite adds 8 GBP posts and 4 image uploads a month, 4 blog posts a month, listings management across 50+ directories, AI visibility tracking and missed call text back.
Local SEO Full doubles that volume, with 16 GBP posts and 8 image uploads a month, 8 blog posts a month, up to 2 quality backlinks a month, AI citation placements, listicle placements and review request integrations. Each additional location is $299 a month on Lite and $599 a month on Full.
Plans start with a six month commitment so the work has time to compound, then run month to month. SEO plans include a three month out: if there is no measurable improvement by month 3, you can stop. You own everything, including the domain, website, content, reviews and assets, and we do not hold your website hostage if you ever want to leave.
Our Local SEO work is the clear service pages, city relevance, internal linking, structured data, fast load times and strong calls to action, with no layers of account managers. Our AI Search Visibility work tracks a set of real customer prompts for your trade and cities across six AI engines every month, recording whether you were named, where in the answer, and which sources the answer cited. Every site we build ships with structured data and an llms.txt file for AI crawlers.
Want to see where you stand before you spend anything? Our plans and pricing page lists every number above, and we will send a free local market analysis that shows exactly where your business shows up on Google and in AI answers across your service area.
FAQs
Why do most contractor SEO agencies hide their pricing?
We cannot speak for other agencies, only to what their sites state. Of the agencies we checked on 2026-09-28, most list services without listing a price, which means a call is the only way to get a number. We publish ours so you can compare before you talk to anyone.
Is a cheaper monthly plan always less work?
Not always less work, but usually less volume. Compare the deliverable counts directly, such as posts per month, blog posts per month, number of directories and number of locations covered, since that is what differs between our own three plans.
Should I run SEO or ads first?
It depends on how fast you need calls and what your market looks like. Our breakdown of SEO versus paid ads for local businesses covers the tradeoff, and we also offer Google Ads if you want both running.
Do I keep the website if I leave?
With us, yes. The domain, website, content, reviews and assets are yours and stay yours. Ownership terms vary by agency, so ask for it in writing before you sign anything.
What does the six month commitment actually buy?
Time for the work to compound. Pages, posts, citations and reviews stack on each other, and a single month rarely shows a trend. SEO plans also include a three month out, so if there is no measurable improvement by month 3, you can stop.
Want to know where you stand in your local market?
We will put together a free analysis of your local market, where you rank on Google and in AI answers across your service area, and what it would take to move up.
